Penang to reward those who meet KPI in waste separation


GEORGE TOWN: Communities that excel in waste segregation at source will get a ‘carrot’ in the form of priority when they apply for state allocations.

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the new ruling would be applicable to all assemblymen and Community Development and Security Committees (JKKK) in Penang after the implementation of waste segregation on June 1.
