Sungai Bertam in Cameron Highlands is set to see 300 sensors installed along its banks as part of the Intelligent River Guard System (Intriguard), which will assess the state of the river.
The first phase will see the National Hydraulic Research Institute of Malaysia (Nahrim), an institute under the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry, installing the markers in six months time.
