KUCHING: Students should be encouraged from a young age to take up subjects which will improve their prospects of getting a job later, says Housing Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg.

He said recently-released statistics showed that there were at least 15,000 unemployed graduates in Sarawak, many of whom had degrees in humanities and social sciences.
