MIRI: In conjunction with the 2016 International Women’s week, Topdog Factory Muay Thai & Mixed Martial Arts is offering free muay thai and mixed martial arts training classes for 30 days for all women who are interested in the course.

The executive director of Topdog Factory, Mia Mah, said that their aim was to empower women to be more confident in themselves and, more importantly, to show that martial arts was for everybody.

“To support this year’s International Women’s Day theme, ‘Pledge for Parity’, we would like to encourage all women to join us at our training centre for free classes for the entire month if they sign up to be a member for a small fee of RM200 as a registration for our annual membership,” Mah said.

Mah, who is also a professional female muay thai exponent, will be participating in the upcoming 3rd TYT Muay Thai Cup 2016 in Bintulu this weekend.

Topdog Factory is located near the Miri City Centre and has the biggest facility for muay thai and mixed martial arts in Miri, with certified professional trainers such as South African muay thai champion, Ncedo “Nintendo” Gomba.
