Housing for Malaysia’s heroes

Accommodation blocks at the Lumut Navy Base will be renovated as part larger efforts to improve the housing situation for serving personnel and veterans of Malaysia

EVEN though former members of the Malaysia Army sacrificed blood, sweat and tears for many years, veterans in the country are now finding it difficult to purchase a house in today’s economic climate.

To lighten their burden, the Defence Ministry is set to implement a housing project for Malaysian Army veterans in Bandar Baru Segari, Perak.
