The upgrades on Jalan Villaraya, Semenyih were carried out in two phases; the first was building the RM3.6mil bridge and the second was resurfacing the road and setting up proper drainage.
IT IS smooth sailing for road users after the pothole ridden Jalan Villaraya in Semenyih got a new coat of tar, a sturdier bridge and an upgraded drainage.
Awaiting action from Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj), road users, especially factory owners and workers in the area, found it difficult to travel through the dips and dives along the road for over five years.
