MALTON Berhad treated buyers of the Bukit Jalil City project to a sumptuous lunch and gift sets as a mark of appreciation and in conjunction with the Chap Goh Meh celebration.

Malton Berhad managing director Michael Lim said this was one of their ways of expressing appreciation to the valued customers of Bukit Jalil City.

“Without your overwhelming response, we would not have crossed the RM1bil new record sales, given the challenging year for property developers.

“We believe there is still a demand for property in niche locations and for projects that offer strong concept, branding and delivery.

“In fact, the soft market conditions present an opportune time for housebuyers and long-term investors to buy properties for their own stay or investment,” he said.

The auspicious weekend drew to a close with about 1,000 buyers who brought along their families to enjoy the food.

Each also went home with a Crabtree & Evelyn gift set.

Some 13 customers were lucky enough to walk away with Chinese New Year ang pows of RM888 each.

One of them was Ooi Shun Hau, 38.

“I did not expect this win as I thought the chances were low since there were many who joined the lucky draw.

A retired couple, Eric Chan, 63, and Angie Ow, 60, were among the guests who enjoyed the celebration.

“We bought a unit as a potential retirement home for us, as our children are getting married.

“The location, the reputation of Malton and the high-end mixed development are factors that lead us to decide to buy one,” said Chan.

The day was made merrier with acrobatic high-pole lion dance, appearance of the Monkey God, Chinese rainbow calligraphy, dough doll demonstration and giveaways, face-painting and CNY-themed photo booth.

Through the collaboration between Malton and the award-winning Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Jalil City is set to be an iconic landmark in Malaysia that will transform Bukit Jalil into a more dynamic and vibrant township with excellent connectivity to the city centre and the southern corridor.

Sitting on freehold land, the initial phases of 20ha integrated development consist of Pavilion Bukit Jalil regional shopping centre, 112 units of “Signature ShopOffices,” four towers of luxury serviced apartments called “The Park Sky Residence” and 44 units of “Park Point ShopOffices.”

All the Phase 1 Signature ShopOffices were fully sold, and the new flagship development continued to gain sterling success when 95% of The Park Sky Residence units were sold within weeks of its preview.
