2 DINO QUEST

A sensory feast awaits visiting ‘paleontologists’ at Discoveria, Level 4, Avenue K, where 22 museum-quality dinosaur animatronics that move about and roar amidst green foliage are on display. Visitors are invited to take part in the Dino Quest, a Radio Frequency Identification-based scavenger hunt to uncover 10 dino specimens along the trail. Upon completion, they will be awarded a junior or expert palaeontologist certificate. Discoveria is open this weekend from 10am to 8pm. 3 SAILING REGATTA FOR BEGINNERS

The Novices Sailing Regatta will be held tomorrow at the Royal Selangor Yacht Club, Port Klang. This fun-filled day will see sailing novices assigned to a yacht with an experienced skipper and given basic instructions on the operation of a sailboat. The RSYC also offers ‘Learn to Sail’ courses for the public. Each course is a two-day introduction to sailing designed for beginners to help them understand how boats sail and the basic skills and manoeuvres required to control them.

4 ‘SUPERHEROS’ BY MPO

Audiences at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas will be taken to a world of superheroes and superpowers with concerts themed ‘Superheros’ this weekend by presenter Alasdair Malloy. The concerts, to be led by French conductor Guillaume Tourniaire, is suitable for adults and children aged 4 and above. The concerts will be held today at 3pm and tomorrow at 2.30pm and 4.30pm. 6 FREE TALK ON MENTAL ILLNESS

The Malaysian Mental Health Association will be organising a two-day intensive programme on Understanding Mental Illness this weekend. Members of the public will be able to gain an in-depth understanding and ways to communicate with people suffering from mental illness.
