IT was a red letter day for 237 staff members of Penang Island City Council (MBPP), including a couple who have been serving the council for more than three decades.
Both Jayarajan Chelliah, 58, and his wife S. Annapoorani, 55, were all smiles when they posed for pictures with their certificates at the MBPP Excellence Service Awards ceremony.
