SJKT Menglembu in Ipoh brought clerics from three different religions – Islam, Christianity and Hinduism – to bless the school during the school’s Bhoomi Pooja on Friday.

The ceremony, normally performed to inaugurate a new site for the construction of a building was led by Deputy Education Minister Datuk M. Kamalanathan together Tamil Schools Action Plan Coordinator Prof Datuk Dr N.S. Rajendran, Perak State Assembly Speaker Datuk Seri S.K. Devamany and Chairman of school’s Board of Governors Datuk Thasleem Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Haj.
