KUCHING: A “meeting of the minds” among government officials, oil palm planters and workers’ groups is on the cards to find ways to address the longstanding labour shortage problem faced by the plantation industry.

Sarawak Land Development Minister Tan Sri Dr James Masing said his ministry planned to bring the stakeholders together to deliberate and better understand the workers’ woes faced by the planters.
