THE lack of parking lots near the Taman Berjaya public market in Nibong Tebal, Penang, is among the reasons market-goers double park their cars there.
A check by The Star showed there were only 11 parking lots for the entire market complex which is visited by hundreds of people daily, and two of the lots are for the disabled. Nearby, there are 120 more parking lots in front of the shop houses and around the area.
