Health checks for homeless


A Fomema employee cleaning the wounds of a homeless man who turned up for the company’s CSR programme at Pusat Gelandangan, Jalan Medan Tuanku.

Spending Friday night with more than 300 people in Jalan Medan Tuanku, Unitab Medic Sdn Bhd (Fomema), in collaboration with non-governmental organisation Pertiwi Soup Kitchen, successfully joined hands to provide free medical check-ups and distribute food to the homeless people.

Led by deputy chief officer Datuk Dr Kreeson Vengadeson, Fomema employees recently distributed more than 300 packs of hot food, biscuits, drinking water, buns and snacks during the corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme held at Pusat Gelandangan, Jalan Medan Tuanku, from 9pm until midnight.
