KUCHING: Sarawak, which has yet to receive an allocation for the 1Azam poverty eradication programme this year, hopes that the Federal Government will approve the funds soon.
Welfare, Women and Family Development Minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah said the state had requested RM50mil to assist 5,000 new participants under the programme.
