Commuters question need for carpark

Muniandy, who has been riding the Komuter for five years, says it would be a disaster if the railway station were to be closed.

A MULTI-MILLION ringgit parking complex project undertaken by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) as part of upgrading the Klang Komuter Station is in jeopardy.

Although work on the multi-storey carpark in Jalan Raya Timur, next to the Komuter station, started in the middle of last year, the project is shrouded in uncertainty because of a proposal by Prasarana to build a new Komuter stop not far from the existing station.
