Sikh youths gather at annual camp

THE cool hills of Tanah Rata in Cameron Highlands turned into a hive of activity when about 300 Sikh youths recently gathered to take part in the Simran Group Samelan or their annual Sikh youth camp.

Into its 11th year, the Simran Group Samelan Sikh youth camp is held annually in the Gurdwara Sahib Tanah Rata, where Sikhs of all ages spend a week together to reinforce the teachings of Sikhism.
