Crime rate in PJ has dropped but cyber crime is on the rise


ALTHOUGH the total number of criminal cases in Petaling Jaya last year had reduced by 19% from 2014, cyber crime cases is on the increase in the city with the high broadband penetration, said Petaling Jaya district police chief Asst Comm Mohd Zani Che Din.

Initiatives by the police had also shown positive signs in recent years, he added.
