KOTA TINGGI: A Belize City-registered vessel was detained by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) for anchoring in the Pengerang waters here without proper permit.
The agency’s Tanjung Sedili enforcement chief Capt Amran Daud said the vessel, carrying 13 crewmen, was spotted anchoring illegally some 2.2 nautical miles south-east of Tanjung Ramunia near here at around 10.55am last Thursday.
