Organise own events, resort operators told

KUANTAN: It will be a better practice for resort operators in the state to organise their own promotional events, said state Tourism and Culture Committee chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin.

He said while the government could assist them in terms of basic facilities and other related matters, resort operators should not be too reliant on goverment-organised events to promote their tourism products.
