RAUB: The state government welcomes the sharing of any latest technology to treat contaminated water in streams or rivers caused by bauxite mining and related activities.

State Public Amenities and Environment Committee chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Soffi Razak said although the quality of water would be affected in any area with such activities, with treatment the negative affects could be minimised.
