POLICE and the local authorities have pulled down a large number of printing materials used to promote illegal moneylending on Penang island and the mainland.
The statewide crackdown codenamed Ops Vulture saw at least 3,800 banners, streamers and stickers being taken down during the joint operation between police, Penang Island City Council (MBPP) and Seberang Prai Municipal Council (MPSP).
