COME this July, a bamboo park will open its doors to visitors at Pengkalan Hulu in Perak, a small town on the Malaysia-Thailand border.
The attraction covering a total land area of 20ha (50 acres) is an existing bamboo forest on a hill by the roadside near Kampung Bukit Buluh.
