New tiles store offers world-class shopping experience

MALACCA: Fifty-four global beauties graced the opening of Feruni Ceramiche retail store in Kota Laksamana here.

The leader in premium tiles in Malaysia opened a new retail store and Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2015 contestants from various nations were present.

The pageant’s president Tan Sri Danny Ooi said the company is one of the sponsors for the international event.

“The pageant is a homegrown competition and has been held annually for the past 22 years.

“Our girls are here to be part of this landmark event for Feruni as a gesture of support for our sponsor,” he said when met during the opening recently.

The much-anticipated opening is a major milestone as Feruni brings the world’s latest tile trends and a world-class shopping experience to Malacca.

The commercial hub at Kota Laksamana, comprising three levels, offers a wide collection of tiles.

This new outlet is the eighth retail store for Feruni.

“This is an exciting time for us as the new store in Malacca reflects our vision and mission as we expand our presence in Malaysia and also across South-East Asia.

“Customers can expect the latest and most innovative tile solutions in addition to world-class facilities, said Feruni Ceramiche Sdn Bhd managing director C.C. Ngei during the launch.

Ngei said an enhanced design coupled with full-fledged services is set to create a new benchmark, not only for the tiling industry in Malaysia, but also for future retail stores.

Envisioned as an art gallery – with tiles displayed as exquisite works of art – the new outlet features a glass façade with a melange of grey cement, black metal elements and a glazed curtain wall.

From the outside, the retail store offers an unobstructed view into the interior where it is a reflection of the company’s principles of integrity, honesty and transparency.

The first floor has bathroom and kitchen displays that are created in collaboration with brand partners Roca and Signature Kitchen, respectively.

The second floor consists of the World Trend Gallery, a showcase of avant-garde tile collections from world-renowned designers.

Two new tile series, Marmo 3.0 and Feruni ActiveSurface antimicrobial tiles, were also launched during the event.
