Coastal erosion in Terengganu

KUALA NERUS: Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) is looking into alternative methods to solve the problem of coastal erosion in the state, especially in the Batu Rakit area.

Its vice-chancellor, Prof Datuk Dr Nor Aieni Mukhtar, said. Several studies were being carried out to identify the causes and approaches that could be taken to prevent the problem from recurring.
