Every year, couple deliver supplies to remote Indonesian islands on their ship

AMERICAN Shane Granger, 67, and his German partner Meggi Macoun, 50, became emotional when they spoke about their mission to help the people of poverty-stricken East Timor (Timor-Leste).

Macoun said the couple saw children there going hungry and getting sick and this was why they used their 120-year-old Norwegian-built vessel Vega to deliver health and educational supplies to the remote islands of East Timor and east Indonesia.
