The Star is holding a subscription drive for its ePaper bundle package at Queensbay Mall (ground floor, in front of Haagen-Dazs) from today until Dec 22 from noon to 8pm. Those whosubscribe to the package at RM360 per year for a new subscription or RM260 for renewal during the roadshow will receive four free passes to the Senoptium 6D X Rider Motion and two packs of Chek Hup Mandheling Coffee worth more than RM100 in total.


The 120-year-old Norwegian-builtvessel Vega will be docked at the marina in Straits Quay, Penang, until Dec 27 for an open house session. The ship is in Penang on its annual visit to collect and deliver between 15 and 20 tonnes of donated tools, educational and medical supplies. The public are invited to meet the team behind the humanitarian mission from 10am to 6pm daily during the open house at the marina’s gate near the Sea Queen Restaurant.
