Ministry won’t let parents feel pinch

THE Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry (KPDNKK) will come down hard on companies and supermarkets which take advantage of back-to-school campaigns to reap huge profits.

Its deputy chief secretary Datuk Basaruddin Sadali said 16 cases had been taken to court since January under the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Act 2011.
