ZURICH Insurance (M) Bhd (ZIMB) has launched its second brand drive under the #ProtectTrueLove initiative to emphasise the importance of protecting loved ones.
In line with its global communication platform of creating an emotional bond with its customers, employees, shareholders and its communities, ZIMB has set up a #ProtectTrueLove structure in the heart of the Golden Triangle for display until February.
ZIMB chief executive officer Philip Smith said the drive signified the insurer’s commitment to creating awareness on the importance of protecting the people and things they truly love at different stages in life.
“We are showcasing the love lock tradition as a platform for people to pledge their love to their loved ones and as a symbol of our commitment towards providing the best protection to our customers and the things they truly love and value,” said Smith.
Located in Jalan Bukit Bintang, the art installation depicts the word LOVE and a mother’s gesture of protection towards her child.
Through the #ProtectTrueLove contest, which was held on its microsite from Nov 16 to Dec 6, Malaysians had the chance to express their feelings towards their loved ones online.
Their messages were then immortalised onto specially designed #ProtectTrueLove love locks and attached to the art installation.
Participants also stood a chance to win travel vouchers, two iPhone 6s, cash prizes and merchandises worth more than RM15,000.
The public are also encouraged to share their true love stories by adding their own padlocks to the art installation.
The initiative is having a series of roadshows at 10 locations. The first stop was in Ipoh, Perak (held on Oct 30) with the next one in Sabah and Sarawak in February to further highlight the cause.
The #ProtectTrueLove initiative is part of its ongoing campaign “Zurich Insurance For Those Who Truly Love”.
