A UTILITY cable and a house roof were damaged when the arm cylinder of an excavator at a construction site tilted after it sank into the soft soil in Magazine Road, Penang.
Resident Ong Teong Keat, 74, said he saw sparks coming out of the cable after the arm cylinder fell on top of it at 1.19am yesterday, adding that it also landed on his house’s zinc roof.
