THE Perak government has issued a stop-work order on the clearing of a part of the mangrove forest in Kuala Sepetang pending an investigation.

Kuala Sepetang assemblyman Chua Yee Ling said she was informed by the state Tourism and Culture Committee about the development following her open letter to the Perak Mentri Besar.
