THE empowerment of women in Perak continues, with the appointment of Norsham Rahman as the district officer for the newly gazetted district of Muallim.
Norsham, 43, is the second woman district officer to be appointed by the Perak Government, after Latipah Sehibi was made the Kampar district officer in April this year.
