Top tennis talent handed two crowns thanks to walkovers


A proud moment for the medal winners as they celebrate with the officials after the prize presentation at the Penang Sports Club.

SARAWAK top junior player Alvin Teng Wee Jie was handed a double honour on a silver platter at the 32nd Penang Open International Age Group Tennis championship at the Penang Sports Club.

The top seed in the Boys Under-16 singles, the 16-year-old lived up to expectations when he checked into the final with a straight set 6-1, 6-3 win over his doubles partner Lee Huang Yi of Penang in the semi-final.
