Yong’s invention – a non-electric pet feeder with timer – had won the gold medal at the 2015 Malaysian Young Inventors Exhibition, MYIE (MINDS) award and silver at the 2015 International Exhibition for Young Inventors in Hong Kong, which was organised by National Taiwan Normal University.
