A FLOOD retention pond located at the junction of Ligamas in Batang Kali is not serving its purpose as the surrounding areas are still hit by floods.
On Nov 20, water from the nearby Sungai Batang Kali spilled over to the Batang Kali-Hulu Yam Bharu road making it impassable, with water reaching 1m high.
