Facilities not friendly enough


Some of the needy and disabled who were invited to have high-tea at the Astana by Sarawak Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Abang Muhammad Salahuddin Abang Barieng yesterday. The event was held in conjunction with the Sarawak Governors 89th birthday.

KUCHING: Sarawak remains deeply disabled people unfriendly, according to the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia and members of the special needs community.

Commission member Francis Johen criticised the authorities for not adhering to their own rules and guidelines.
