Johor MIC chief wants all Indian assemblymen in special taskforce


NUSAJAYA: Johor MIC chairman Datuk M. Asojan wants a special taskforce which includes all three Indian assemblymen set up to oversee the RM6mil allocation for the community under the state Budget 2016.

The Bukit Gambir assemblyman said the Johor Indian Task Force (JITF) should be chaired by Mentri Besar Datuk Mohamed Khaled Nordin with committee members comprising assemblymen and relevant government agencies including the state welfare department, Yayasan Pelajaran Johor (YPJ) and the Entrepreneur Development Centre (EDC).
