Kenyans sweep top spots in bridge marathon

The full marathon drew 5,300 runners while the half marathon attracted 9,000 runners.

IT WAS first-time lucky for Kenyan Julius Kiprotich Seurei when he won the 42km Full Marathon Men’s Open at the Asics Penang Bridge International Marathon 2015, last Sunday.

A first-time visitor to Penang, the 29-year-old runner clocked 2:22:00s to take home the cash prize of RM20,000.
