HOW much would you pay for a good pair of shoes? Some women would go so far as to splurge on a pair of Jimmy Choo or Christian Louboutin iconic heels, never mind that they are not meant for walking much and can be quite uncomfortable.

One brand that will treat your feet right and is worth investing in, however, is the brand Geox, known to be “the shoe that breathes”.

A leading footwear company in its homeground Italy and a growing international brand in the Malaysian market, Geox has just launched its seventh Geox Shop in Malaysia, located at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall.

The event was launched by Geox Asia Pacific Sales and Retail senior vice-president Mauro Malta, and distributor company Good Rich Winner managing directors Stanley Chong and Lenson Chong.

Local celebrities such as Frederick Lee, Debbie Goh and Siti Saleha attended the event together with Good Rich Winner’s senior management team, fashion buyers and business partners.

“Malaysia is one of the most important markets for the brand in Asia and the launch of this new store indicates that Geox is well-received by customers.

“We will continue to invest in research and development to improve the lives and wellbeing of our clients,” said Malta at the launch.

Geox offers classic, casual, sport, and fashion footwear for men, women and children, based on unique patents which aim to promote and guarantee breathability and impermeability.

Its technology is protected by 40 different patents, registered in Italy and extended internationally.

“We have received tremendous feedback from consumers on Geox shoes since the launch of our first concept store in Kuala Lumpur nine years ago.

“As a leading shoe company in Malaysia, we have a mission to always strive to work with brands that inspire and offer products that will bring value and improvements to the lives of consumers.

“We strongly believe this new concept store will create more value to our customers by offering them the latest Geox styles and a unique shopping experience,” said Lenson.

He also announced that Geox would open another store in Empire City, Damansara and Freeport A’Famosa Outlet Village premium outlet, Malacca, in the next six months.

In conjunction with the opening of the concept store, Geox also launched its new collections for Fall/Winter, highlighting the Omaya, Rhosyn, Elina, Nimat, Snake and Nebula Collections, among others.

The men’s collection has the modern, adventurous and style-conscious gentleman in mind, yet provide a balance of what he requires when he is outdoors and engages in athletic performance.
