DEFAULTERS of traffics summonses from the Shah Alam City Council beware!
In a move to collect the dues, defaulters with more than 10 unpaid traffic summonses risk having their vehicles towed away to the impound yard.
Since the exercise started two weeks ago, the council has seized eight vehicles.
The council’s corporate communications head Shahrin Ahmad said the vehicles would be released once the owners settled the overdue summonses.
He said the council would carry out the operation against defaulters indefinitely.
Shahrin said traffic offenders owed the council RM21.9 million in fine from January to September this year.
