YELLOW pedestrian beacons have been installed in a move to make Penang island a ‘pedestrian’s heaven’.
The beacons — a pair in Farquhar Street near the Penang High Court and the other in Burmah Road near the Pangkor Road junction — will put pedestrians first and motorists second.
