Checks on prices to weed out profiteering

SOME 180 enforcement officers from the Kedah Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry will be going on rounds to monitor prices of controlled goods during the Deepavali season.

Its deputy enforcement chief Mohamed Aznashah Khalid said the officers would be assisted by Consumers Squad members and village heads.
