KUCHING: The Sarawak Government recognises the importance of the island of Borneo as a life support system, says Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem.
He said the state government supported the concept of conservation, including the establishment of a trans-boundary conservation area which led to the signing of the Heart of Borneo (HoB) initiative between the governments of Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia in 2007.
