Hospital and university part of RM1.2bil project in Ipoh

A PUBLIC-private hospital, based on the concept of Universiti Malaya Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur, will be built at Bandar Meru Raya in Ipoh.

The plan is for the hospital to house 840 beds, with 600 in a public wing and 240 in a private wing.
