Ramlee cutting a log to mark the ground breaking for the building of transit homes for Kg Simunul fire victims.
Semporna district officer D. Chacho Bullah said that the state government has already approved RM1mil to build transit houses for the victims who were currently staying at the community centre and in tents.
He said it was unlikely that the district office would allow them to rebuild their house at the coastal village in the heart of town.
