Fighting illegal dumping

THE Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) special task force team has seized 28 lorries, including garbage trucks since its operation to stop illegal dumping started early this month.

MPS special task force chief C. Paramasivam said the vehicles were confiscated when the lorry drivers were caught red-handed disposing garbage in Batu 8, Gombak, Sungai Pusu, Phase 9 in Taman Sri Gombak, Bukit Rahman Putra and Kampung Desa Aman in Sungai Buloh.
