IT was a heart-warming sight when 100 newly hatched baby turtles wriggled their way to the open sea after being released from the Turtle Conservation Centre at Pantai Kerachut in Penang.
State Fisheries Department officer Mohd Syahrulnizam Ismail, who is in charge of the centre, said all the hatchlings were green turtles.
