Tourism and Culture Ministry gazettes Vivekananda Ashram in Brickfields as national heritage due to its historical values.
THE Vivekananda Ashram in Brickfields will be gazetted as a national heritage after the Tourism and Culture Ministry rejected an appeal by the landowners against the decision.
Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said the decision was final and the ashram will be gazetted under Section 31 of the National Heritage Act 2005.
