High commissioner praises strong business relations between UK, Malaysia

Treadell said British businesses are known for introducing and using state-of-the-art systems and processes in their operations, and this is the kind of foreign investments she wishes to encourage here.

“It’s not just about British businesses making money, it’s about helping to transform the Malaysian economy as well, to help the country diversify, to create higher-end jobs and to bring in new techniques into the market,” she said after her official visit to the Tesco Fresh Distribution Centre in Simpang Pulai here last week.
