BESUT: An effort is being made in collaboration with several agencies and educational institutions to train single mothers to be able to serve as midwives and masseuses under the Terengganu government’s Mama Care programme.

State Health, Woman, Family and Community Development Committee chairman Datuk Muhammad Pehimi Yusof said the agencies involved were the Family Development Foundation, the National Population and Family Development Board and the community colleges in the state.
