JOHOR BARU: The Health Ministry has assured the public that the country has enough medicines and vaccines to treat those infected with typhoid fever, especially with the recent spike in cases reported in the Klang Valley since two months ago.

Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam said the typhoid fever is treatable and that doctors at clinics nationwide would usually conduct screening for such diseases, especially if the patient was feverish.
